One of the reasons it made headlines was that it was rarely worn by LeBron James during games. There was a famous "fit issue," and Nike altered the shoe rather than risk injury to their star. Despite James' disappointment, the decision demonstrated how seriously both the athlete and the shoe manufacturer regarded design.

However, the 'What The' edition of the LeBron 11 was arguably the most popular.

LeBron 11 Review

For how big the sneaker appears, it's quite light. The Clutchfit Drive 2 weighs the same.

The overall traction is good. It's not perfect, but it's near. One thing is that the LeBron X, in my opinion, has greater overall traction. On anything other than immaculate courts, he's just not that good.

One of the LeBron 11's strong suits is its cushioning. Although the responsiveness of the Zoom is dampened by the Lunarlon and because the Zoom is bottom loaded, the Lunarlon Zoom combo felt terrific underfoot.

True to size is my recommendation. I liked the fit of the shoe, but it didn't feel as good on my feet as the Hyperposite did.

The Lebron 11 has superb support and stability, as do all Lebrons. Great fit, lower cushioning than the LeBron X, and a great flat outsole all contribute to this shoe being as supportive as it gets.

The airflow is satisfactory. There's nothing exceptional about it, but there's a purpose behind it. Heat and moisture are required for Foamposite to mold to the contour of your foot.
